Delicious and healthy? that's something we can handle.
In the spirit of the new year, we have decided that one of our resolutions would be eating healthier (so original, right?). Now, we don't necessarily eat terribly, but we wanted to go on the hunt for some yummy recipes that were a. easy b. inexpensive and c. not gross. LOW AND BEHOLD we stumbled upon some killer smoothie recipes on (one of our favorites) Refinery 29.
The smoothie recipe below is just one of many awesome choices - and let us tell you, this particular West Coaster smoothie is phenomenal. A tip from the pros @ Refinery 29: OJ, avocado and raw pistachios are filled with vitamin C, potassium, and vitamin B6.
The West Coaster
10 oz orange juice
1/4 cup raw pistachios 1/2 ripe avocado
1/4 cup peaches
And that's IT! Can you believe it? We couldn't.
