NORWEGIAN FOREST COCKTAIL
With the holidays right around the corner, we got to thinking about: holiday cocktails. We are typically huge fans of a classic old fashioned, or lets be honest, a beer - but this year we opted for something a little more festive. After perusing the internet, we finally stumbled upon a cocktail recipe that met all of our criteria: easy to make, inexpensive, delicious, and of course...super cute.
We would like to thank Sweet Paul Magazine for providing us with this years perfect holiday cocktail.
Ingredients: 2 cocktails
2 sprigs of rosemary
4 lime wedges
juice of 1/2 lime
1/2 cup simple syrup
1/2 cup vodka
1. Divide the berries, rosemary and limes into two glasses.
2. Muddle well and fill glasses with ice.
3. Add simple syrup and vodka and stir well.
4. Top with ginger ale.
* Don't forget to add a sprig of rosemary to each glass to give it that extra festive touch!
a little touch of home:
For our personal vodka choice, we went with a local distillery here in Minnesota! Not only is Far North Spirits branding absolutely stunning, but all of their alcohol is smooth and delicious.
