sweet watercolor and hand lettered invitations | stonehaven barn

Lucy + Corey | 06/11/2016

We couldn't have been happier to work on an invitation suite for one of Catherine's family friends, Lucy (Lachele) Fitzgerald. We had so much fun working with her on the invitations and day of items. We always like figuring out fun details that take us out of the usual routine. Just check out the RSVP/escort cards! Lucy was kind enough to share a bit about her wedding below!

I've known Catherine since we were kids, and had been following Printerette Press on Instagram, so they were already on my mind when Cory popped the question back in 2014. My mom and I visited her sweet studio in Minneapolis last fall, and I was a little nervous because I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted. (My sister made fun of me because at this point, my entire motif was based solely on two words: "June dusk.") Catherine was so insightful about the whole process, and gave us tons of ideas and advice! By showing us samples of other invitations she's made, we were able to come up with a concept that I loved and that totally reflected what we'd hoped our big day would be like.

In addition to giving us beautiful invitations, Catherine helped us with hand-lettering signs for the venue, our custom matchboxes, and stamps for our nontraditional RSVP cards. She was also completely accessible via email for all of my questions, which totally eased my mind. She helped me so much throughout the entire process, which I am so grateful for because I never would have guessed how complicated (and dramatic!) wedding invitations could be.

Of all the tricky details that I had to keep control of over those last few months, I knew that our Printerette products were not going to be a problem! Thank you, PP, for being part of our day and making sure the details were just as unforgettable as every other part of our perfect day!
