Watercolor Wildflowers and Letterpress Invitations

Last summer, Jordana and Teddy had the most beautiful outdoor wedding in the Berkshires, New York. We used the picturesque venue, Gedney Farm, and wildflowers as our inspiration for the illustrations and watercolors for all of the pieces. Touches of foil created a magical vibe that carried right through to the wedding weekend.

As the guests arrived, they received tote bags printed with the barn illustration and florals used on the Save the Dates which were screen printed locally. Inside the bag, along with an array of goodies, was a printed itinerary for the weekend events and any info the guests would need.

For the invitation suite we used digital watercolor for the illustrations and printed over with 1-color letterpress in a deep green. To polish it off we used gold foil for Jordana and Teddy’s names and starry sky above the venue illustration. The piéce de résistance was the foil printed constellations on the envelope liner! Swoon!

The day of paper kept the floral vibe going. In addition to creating programs, we worked with Jordana to design a Kehtubah for the couple to sign for the ceremony. We were honored to create such an important ceremony piece! For the reception, we created sweet escort cards for guests to guide them to their table where they would find a printed menu, customized with their name in gold calligraphy.

Thank you to Jordana and Teddy for letting us share photos from their gorgeous day! All photos above were taken and provided by Rebecca Wood who you can find here and here.
